Dinner and a Wedding Reception

Okay, there is now a small group of us that want to get together for dinner and Alyssa's wedding reception. Genna said that she wants to go to dinner before the reception. Is everyone else all right with that?

Alyssa's reception is in West Jordan and starts at 7pm. We could meet at 5:30pm or 6:00pm at a local restaurant. There are a ton of restaurants over there. Any suggestions?

Lunch June 2nd and the wedding reception

Who wants to go to lunch on June 2nd in Logan or maybe we could do dinner in Salt Lake because a lot of people are already going to Alyssa's wedding reception. I know that not everyone can go, but at least some of us could hang out.

Alyssa's wedding reception is from 7pm till 9pm at the River Sixth Ward 7380 South 1300 West, in West Jordan, UT. Click here for a webpage with directions to the chappel.

People, we want to hang out. We need feedback as to when are where. From this point on until Fall semester it will be impossible for all of us to get together, but we can at least hangout in little groups here and there. I think Genna's going sailing this weekend at Bear Lake. I don't know what else is going on. Talk to me people, what do y'all want to do?????

Are we going to reschedule, or what?!

I don't know about any of you, but I for one was pretty much devastated when the Fabulous First Year Grad Student Barbeque, Talent Show and Swap Meet was cancelled. (Honestly, where else am I going to be able to sell off my hula skirt and coconut bra?) Has anyone been talking about rescheduling the barbeque or having some other kind of gathering? Post here if you have any input! Thanks.

Barium

Barium, a metallic element, soft, and when pure is silvery white like lead; it belongs to the alkaline earth group, resembling calcium chemically.

And apparently makes good homemade bread.

Resume and Interviewing Tips for SLPs

While I was trying to update my resume for externships I did a google search for examples of SLP resumes. I found this a website that gave tips and examples of resumes, cover letters, and interviews all specific to SLPs. I just thought that this might be helpful for other people and I wanted to remember where I found it in the future.

Old Pictures of Us

I found some of the old pictures of us from our Jr. year. Wow, we've been around each other for awhile now. Aren't we sick of each other yet?

BBQ time

Just wanted to post (for the hundreds of people who read "the blog") that the Fabulous First Year Grad Student Barbeque, Talent Show, and Swap Meet will be held tomorrow, or in other words, Wednesday. I personally will be doing a hawaiian hula number and then auctioning off my hula skirt at the swap meet later. Okay, so there really is no talent show or swap meet, but there is a barbeque. Yum. Bring your own meat (or soy product if you prefer) to grill, and bring a side to share. The shindig starts at 5:30, which means people will start arriving by 6, which means we'll be able to finally start consuming the food around 6:30 or 7. So come! It'll be fun.

Good luck on finals everybody!!!

May you all get big fat "A"s and may you enjoy your two days off. That's all we get off, right? Thursday and Friday (Well I guess that we get the weekend off too.). Then back into the thick of things for the beautiful May courses.

Don't forget: our group will be getting together for a party Wednesday Night for all who can come. Could some one please post the details?

If you come and visit the website, at least leave some a little comment so we know you were here.
